This colored pencil artwork is inspired by Nowruz, a celebration of renewal, hope, and new beginnings. The goldfish, drawn from the Haft-Seen table, symbolize life, movement, and the fresh energy of a new year. I used symmetry and flowing circular forms to reflect the harmony, balance, and liveliness I associate with spring, while the blue patterns suggest water and motion, and the yellow background brings warmth, light, and joy. At the center, the blooming shapes represent growth and the awakening of nature. Through this piece, I wanted to express the feeling of Nowruz as I carry it in my heart full of color, life, and hope.
